You May Be In The Right Place If…

You may recognize yourself in some of these experiences:

  • You feel deeply affected by other people’s emotions
  • You struggle to set boundaries without guilt
  • You overthink conversations and relationships
  • You often carry the emotional weight for others
  • You feel torn between family expectations and your own needs
  • You appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed inside
  • You want healthier relationships but repeat old patterns

Therapy can help you understand these patterns, regulate emotions, and relate to yourself with more compassion and confidence.

About Me

I’m Valquiria Molina, a Brazilian therapist based in Washington State.

I work with sensitive, introspective adults and couples who often carry more emotional weight than they should have to carry alone.

My clinical focus includes:

  • emotional sensitivity
  • relationship dynamics
  • identity development
  • attachment patterns
  • intercultural experiences

I earned my Psychology degree in Brazil and completed a Master’s degree in Psychology with a clinical focus in hospital settings, supporting individuals facing complex emotional and health-related challenges.

My style is warm, insightful, collaborative, and depth-oriented. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest, hiking, weekend getaways, slow mornings, reading, and spending time with my Yorkie.

For Brazilian Psychologists

Consultation for Brazilian Psychologists

Working as a counselor in the United States without completing another master's degree may be possible, depending on the state and your academic background. This was my own experience after completing postgraduate studies in Brazil, and it may also be a possibility for you.

I offer consultation to help you:

  • Understand how your degree may be evaluated in the U.S.
  • Research requirements in the state where you live
  • Explore possible pathways for licensure or related professional work
  • Organize your next steps with greater clarity and strategy

Each state has different rules, and requirements can vary significantly. No specific outcome, approval, or licensure can be guaranteed, but I can help you navigate the process with more information and direction.
